Internet of Things connectivity provider Caburn Telecom has signed a regional contract with Philippines-based TouchMedia. The international partnership will see TouchMedia established as a reseller of IoT services, working alongside Caburn Telecom to develop opportunities in sectors ranging from utilities to automotive and telecommunications.
One of south-east Asia’s leading systems integrators, TouchMedia holds the record for the highest number of installed payment and informational kiosks in the region and prides itself on bridging the digital divide between developed and underdeveloped sectors of society.
Specialising in the conceptualisation, development and deployment of kiosks and associated back-end systems, TouchMedia has more than a decade’s experience in implementing network security and payment processing solutions across the Philippines, Indonesian and Japanese markets.
“The south-east Asian market is full of innovation and opportunity, and it’s a great time to be forging partnerships with likeminded businesses keen to expand,” said Manolo Bado, CEO of TouchMedia. “Caburn Telecom provides reliable connections, great coverage and a high degree of visibility, helping businesses to manage a growing SIM estate. We’re looking forward to working together to bring industry-leading IoT technologies to clients across the region.”
“We’re delighted to partner with TouchMedia to deliver M2M services in the region,” added Paul Bandell MD at Caburn Telecom International. “TouchMedia’s global reputation means they are well placed to help us bring our global multi-network solution to new territories.”
