Caburn Telecom has been chosen by the NHS Western Isles to provide the vital connectivity at the launch of the Innovative NHS Assisted Living Pilot Project WISH (Western Isles Safe at Home). The project is to develop, trial and implement operationally an integrated health and care solution.
NHS Western Isles are one of the most innovative NHS Trusts in the UK and have a unique operating environment over a number of islands in the Western Isles also known as the Outer Hebrides. There are 6 main islands, Lewis, Harris, North Uist, South Uist, Benbecula and Barra, with challenges facing NHS Western Isles to provide high quality health and care on these islands.
